TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ESDEN STUDENT ENROLLMENT CONTRACT

GENERAL CLAUSES

The completion of this bulletin implies the acceptance of the following clauses:

Nature of the School

The School is a private center for postgraduate studies that offers training in the following modalities:

  • On-site
  • Semi-attendance
  • Distance/Online

The training modality of the contracted course is described both in the information received at the time of registration and in the study guide sent together with the didactic material.

Didactic Material

  • The didactic material to which the student has access corresponds to the latest updated version of the course.
  • Updates to the material made during the training period will be accessible through the Virtual Campus of the School’s website.
  • Prohibition of transfer: The transfer of the material to non-legitimate third parties or its use for purposes other than purely academic is strictly prohibited.

REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING THE “DIGITAL GENERATION” PROGRAM CERTIFICATE

Compliance with the following activities and requirements is mandatory for all students:

1. Assistance

  • Attend all face-to-face and synchronous (live online) classes.
  • View delayed classes when applicable.
  • Participate in mentoring for the elaboration of the final project, “Digital Transformation Plan”.
  • At least 75% of total attendance in the above mentioned activities must be met.
  • The 25% of allowed absences must be justified by a medical or work certificate.

2. Activities on the Platform

  • Take the final tests and complete the surveys after the completion of each module on the platform.

3. MOOCS

  • Complete the online MOOC course , Digital Generation, from the School of Industrial Organization (EOI).
  • Send the corresponding certificate to the Academic Coordination Department by e-mail.

4. Digital Transformation Plan

  • Presentation of the final project “Digital Transformation Plan”.

LOSS OF ESDEN STUDENT STATUS

ESDEN reserves the right to withdraw student status in the following cases:

  • Incurring in serious breaches of discipline, respect or negligence against ESDEN faculty or staff.
  • Failure to comply with the ESDEN Code of Conduct.
  • Failure to comply with the requirements established by EOI in relation to the grant awarded through the European Next Generation Funds in the programs:
    • Digital Generation of Agents of Change
    • Digital Generation SMEs: People in Management Teams and Qualification of People Employed in SMEs

CLAIMS

Complaint forms are available for consumers and users.


DATA PROTECTION

In compliance with the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data, the student and payer are informed that:

  • The personal data provided will be used to manage the contracted services.
  • The data will be kept for the duration of the business relationship or as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations.
  • No data will be transferred to third parties except by legal obligation.
  • Students can exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, opposition and limitation of treatment before ESDEN in:

    • E-mail: asantiago@esden.es (attaching a copy of ID card or equivalent document).

If the student considers that he/she has not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of his/her rights, he/she may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency ( C/ Jorge Juan, 6 – 28001 Madrid).

Transfer of Data

  • Students expressly authorize the use of their data to manage their relationship with ESDEN, including commercial communications and information on training programs.
  • It is reported that in order to develop educational services, data may be shared with providers related to the educational and financial field, such as:
    • Teachers
    • Banks and financial institutions
    • Service companies

Use of Images

  • The School may carry out photographic or audiovisual reportage inside and outside its facilities in academic or institutional events.
  • These images may be used for internal and external publications for promotional purposes.
  • The student may exercise his/her right of opposition by sending a request to ESDEN with a copy of his/her identity document.

FINAL PROVISIONS

Independence of Clauses

If any clause of the agreement is void or voidable, this shall not invalidate the rest of the document, which shall remain in force.

2. Integrity of the Agreement

This document represents the entire agreement between the parties.
Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.

3. Legislation and Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by Spanish law.
In case of conflict, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Madrid (Capital).
