Excellence in student management and attention:

ESDEN Business School is committed to implement, comply with and disseminate this Quality, Educational Organization and Environmental Policy to interested parties, being subject to continuous review for the sake of its constant adaptation to the strategies and guidelines established by the Institution.

The monitoring of this Policy will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the procedure “Definition and Review of the Quality, Educational Organization and Environmental Policy”, included in the ESDEN Business School’s own Integrated Quality, Educational Organization and Environmental Management System.

At ESDEN Business School, we adopt a dynamic approach to “Quality Management”, conceptualizing it as an active process of knowledge acquisition. This process is key to the generation of new information, which is essential to implement effective improvement actions. At the core of our methodology are the evaluation-action plan processes, which we use as fundamental tools for continuous improvement.

To ensure alignment with the Purpose and Vision of our Institution, we carry out the planning, execution and control of essential activities. These activities are focused on providing services that meet high quality standards, evaluated through performance, result and customer satisfaction indicators. We implement a ‘Quality Management System’, based on the EFQM Model and other standards.

The Quality Area in our organization has the fundamental objective of promoting and consolidating a culture of Quality. This culture is key to ensure the satisfaction of our customers and other relevant stakeholders, and to optimize business results. To achieve this, we focus on several critical aspects:

Implementation of a Quality Management System: This system is essential to ensure not only the satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders, but also to comply with the current regulatory framework. Through this system, we ensure that we adhere to our quality policy and other internal policies and processes. This systematic approach is vital to the effective and efficient management of quality throughout the company’s operations.

Obtaining Accreditations and Recognitions: We strive to obtain accreditations and recognitions that evidence our excellence in management, both academic and institutional. These achievements are fundamental to raise our reputation and positioning in the educational field, both nationally and internationally. The pursuit of these accreditations is a reflection of our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Verification, Certification, Assurance and Follow-up: A key component of our quality strategy is the verification, certification, assurance and continuous follow-up of the quality of the degrees and training programs we offer. This process covers various types of training and is essential to maintain and improve the quality of our educational offerings.

ODS

ESDEN Business School's commitment to the SDGs

ESDEN Business School ends the year 2023, closing key aspects of its present, future and corporate identity. One of the key aspects is to close the Strategic Plan of ESDEN Business School, which, in terms of values, addresses a plan for 2024 regarding the SDGs that revolves around the main functions assigned to the school: entrepreneurship, education, management of our communities and the relationship with society, the latter two under the principle of good governance.

Within these areas, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals are present within the strategies planned to achieve the objectives set for the year 2024.

In the area of entrepreneurship, the strategic plan outlines how the SDGs can help connect business strategies with global priorities thus enabling numerous benefits for entrepreneurship, of which the following are related:

  • Sustainability through the value chain, companies can create value for themselves: increasing their sales, developing new market segments, strengthening their brand, improving their operational efficiency, innovating in product, reducing staff turnover, etc….
  • Strengthen stakeholder relations and stay abreast of public policy developments, avoiding legal and reputational risks: improve trust among stakeholders.
  • Benefits related to the effects of stabilizing societies and markets:
  • Poverty: Increase in consumer markets worldwide.
  • Education: more qualified and committed employees.
  • Empowerment of women: Emerging global market equivalent in size and purchasing power to the populations of China and India.
  • Climate change: Ensuring that the global economy operates within the planet’s capacity to provide essential resources.
  • Promoting accountable institutions and open, rules-based financial and trading systems: reducing costs and risks associated with doing business.

In addition, within our valuation and investment tribunals, the impact of the projects on the SDGs is assessed in aspects such as:

  • SDG 3: Reduce the number of health and safety-related accidents by 30% by 2022.
  • SDG 4: Train all employees on the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • SDG 5: Achieve 40% of women in management positions.
  • SDG 12: Reduce waste…
  • SDG 13: Seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the company’s operations.

In the field of education, in addition to training students, employees, teachers and the ESDEN ecosystem in the SDGs, the strategic plan sets as one of its objectives to make learning processes more flexible and successively transform the teaching experience, aware that in today’s constantly changing societies, learning is a lifelong process.

Within the “Professional profile and development of extracurricular competencies” strategy, it is planned to strengthen development education programs and seek the mainstreaming of subjects related to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to promote awareness of the problems of development and environmental sustainability.

Finally, in the “Good governance” section, as the backbone principle of the whole plan, the strategic lines of action include “promoting life in the school, gender equality policies, the development of an accessible and inclusive school, responsible with the environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It also wants to develop its teaching and research activities in a global environment, establishing new strategic alliances and developing the ones it already has such as EUNEIZ (Vitoria-Gasteiz University) and UNISANT (University of Santander)”, including as objectives a responsible and committed school and the development of alliances in a global environment.

An exciting project. Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS)

The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of ESDEN Business School is a project that we have decided to launch in the last month of 2023 and takes as its starting point the quality assurance and moves towards a global management of it, understood as a “set of coordinated activities to direct and control an organization in relation to quality” and that includes planning, control and improvement of the system.

They are focused on promoting the educational excellence of our students through the continuous improvement of all our processes and achieving the satisfaction of the different stakeholders.

The IQAS includes the Quality Policy, which applies to all the School’s activities and, more specifically, to the value chain of the training offer.

It is a great challenge for 2024, which excites us, which we are passionate about and which responds to the reality of the service that ESDEN Business School has been providing for 25 years, which is to clearly place the student at the center of the process, i.e., all the processes of the institution are designed around the impact on the student.
